Who can write good e-mail responses to your customers? Our skills assessment helps you hire, promote and train the best people. Here’s how it’s different from typical writing tests:

    It’s a needs analysis as well as a test.
    You receive more than a score. An E-mail Skills Profile identifies each person’s strengths and weaknesses. If you decide to provide training for some individuals, you will know exactly what training is required to bring them up to speed on writing tasks.

    It measures critical thinking skills, not just grammar and writing.
    The E-mail Skills Profiles you receive show you who can choose the right template for the situation and who can answer the customer’s questions completely. These extremely important abilities simply cannot be evaluated in one-sentence grammar questions or in essay-type writing examples.

Using our assessment is easy! It’s all electronic.

When candidates complete the test, they click on the Submit box, and their responses come directly to The Writing Exchange. We determine the scores, create individual profiles, and send you the results electronically. Depending on the volume you submit, the turnaround time is generally one or two business days.
